Two Man Acoustic Jam
Music and Learning from 0-6

Two Man Acoustic Jam is a program that encourages children, newborn to 6 years old, to sing and dance along with a live, two-piece band. Our teacher/musicians take students on a musical journey each week while experiencing music and language from cultures around the globe.

By mixing our original kids rock ‘n’ roll with popular tunes, the band is sure to please little ones and their adults.

It is the most fun you and your child will have all week!

Diane’s background is in providing intervention services to elementary students.  Since having children she decided to pursue a different path and spread her love of yoga to the next generation.  She is a Childlight yoga and Mindfulness instructor.

Diane’s toddler and caregiver yoga class provide children with an opportunity to develop important skills such as strength, coordination, and balance in a fun environment.

Her preschool yoga class provides children with an opportunity to develop important skills while gaining some independence by attending class alone.  Caregivers are expected to stay at Lily Pad Play but will not be part of the class.

Candace Winterbauer RD LD
Baby Led Weaning Workshop

Since starting my dietetics career in 2013, the most rewar
ding part has been watching clients succeed with their health goals. As a dietitian for the Washington University Heart Care Institute, I helped patients manage their weight, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease through diet using up to date medical nutrition therapy.

In 2017, my daughter was discovered to have elevated lead levels which caused me to dive into current dietary research on lead exposure and abatement in order to help her body heal.  This ultimately led me to my current focus of Baby Led Weaning.  In early 2018, I started my own company to help support families with nutrition education, provide 1:1 nutrition counseling, and to teach Baby Led Weaning both individually and through workshops.

My background is originally in chemistry where I worked in the food and beverage industry for 5 years. A career move led me to Saint Louis University where I decided to follow my passion of food, education, and community.  I received my masters in Nutrition and Physical Performance and became a Registered Dietitian. I am now a mother of three loving the ups, downs, laughs, and tears while connecting with my community through food.

Dana Hill, Zumbini
Queen City Zbini

Dana is thrilled to be a part of the Zumbini family! With two small children of her own she knows how important it is to give them social, active, educational experiences and Zumbini encompasses them all. Dana has a BFA in Stage Management from the University of Miami (FL) with a minor in Dance, is a retired NFL cheerleader, has choreographed numerous musicals and competitive dance pieces, and has over 20 years of dance experience. She has worked in professional theatres, educational sales, and moonlights in a cover band. Football, food, and fitness are some of the things she enjoys. Zumbini drew her in as she felt that it encompasses all of her passions and experiences and gives her the opportunity to use them to develop and stimulate young minds. She can’t wait to share this experience with everyone

Meghan Nowland, CPM, IBCLC
Infant Massage and Breastfeeding Support

I grew up as the fifth child in a family of fourteen, and have always been around babies and loved them. In 2010 I caught my niece at my sister’s home birth in Virginia, which led me down the path of becoming a midwife. I have a bachelor’s degree in midwifery from the Midwives College of Utah and moved to Cincinnati with a passion to improve Ohio’s maternity care. I regularly volunteer teaching community childbirth education classes and for the Kentucky Home Birth Coalition, and am a founder of Ohio’s chapter of National Association of Certified Professional Midwives. Before moving to Ohio I lived in San Antonio Texas for two years and worked at Birth Center Stone Oak and with home birth midwives Robin Rabenschlag, Julie Hatfield, and Janet Dirmeyer. I earned my CPM certification in 2014, and have been practicing as a home birth midwife ever since. In 2017 I became certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Kelli Gleiner
Art with Miss Kelli

Kelli Gleiner is an art educator, fiber artist, and author of two books for small children (Cheer Up, Monster! and A Day With Monster) featuring her needle-felted characters. She has taught art classes to a variety of ages all over the city, and is delighted to have her art class joining the schedule at Lily Pad Play.

Art with Miss Kelli is a class for ages two to five with an emphasis on exploring a variety of media and gathering inspiration from many sources. We will look at works of art, read books, and/or play with materials before creating our own works of art to take home! Grownups are encouraged to stay with our youngest artists as their assistants.
